How Long Does It Take For Trazodone To Wear Off?
I’ve been prescribed trazodone to help with insomnia. It’s a 10 mg pill and I’ve been instructed to take half. I have a 2 year old and I need to be able to get up with her when she wakes in the mornings. So I was wondering when I would need to take it in order to be up when she wakes up. Thanks for the help. I will try to call the pharmasist tomorrow. I guess I’m asking whether it’s too late to take it tonight or not.

I took Trazodone for years. It is an older drug. You should not have any “hangover” effects if you get 6-8 hours of sleep. I changed to a newer drug for sleep. You could feel a little drowsy during the day at first, but that will pass. You probably will be fine.

the dosage you’re on is super low…i take 50mg. you should prob take it before 11pm. if you are sensitive to medications, you might possibly have a “hangover” effect from trazadone.
