Any Recommendations For Getting A Prescription Of Oxycontin?
I’ve been suffering from some very severe migraine headaches recently. My usual GP retired from practise last spring, and the new doctor is reluctant to give me my usual prescription of Oxycontin. I really need this as I can’t sleep or even watch TV from the severe pain. I don’t want to doctor shop, but I need to get on with my life.
Any Suggestions? I’ve tried all sorts of alternative therapies and only meds work for me.

You have to discuss that with your GP. Explain EXACTLY why you need it and if he still does not want to prescribe it to you then your only option will be to doctor shop!
Are you sure you are not addicted to it? Oxycontin is extremely addictive.
Ask your new Doctor to review your records. Have him note the alternate therapies and the fact that the drug is your only relief. I feel for you. I have diabetic neuropathy and so far I can’t get any relief. My Doctor has tried 5 or 6 different meds. I might as well take aspirin, in fact they actually are as ineffective as any prescription I’ve tried so far.
Good luck, and don’t be afraid to change Doctors, especially if you don’t feel like you have any “trust” in this one.
Maybe you’re addicted. Get a new doctor or kick the habit.
