Methadone is more difficult to kick than heroin (according to former addicts in the methadone program). I have seen people on methadone, it aint pretty. If you think your friend is lying to his doctor to get drugs, tell someone. Methadone is NOT to played with. There is no possible way he could have gotten that prescription with an addiction to marihuana (not a very common condition on its own). I suspect your friend has been doing more than just dope.
