How Does Someone Get Methadone With Only A Dope Addiction?
I know someone who is using regular weed but has somehow managed to convice his doctor for a prescription for a “Take Away 20mg Dose” of Methadone.
I understand from fellow tenants that Methadone is a drug more addictive than hard drugs. Should he be having this stuff? Should I tell the Mental Health Service? What do you think?

Methadone is indicated only for aiding in opiod addiction recovery (heroin and the like). There is no possible way he could have gotten that prescription with an addiction to marihuana (not a very common condition on its own). I suspect your friend has been doing more than just dope.
Methadone is generally prescribed for two reasons; pain or to ease withdrawl from opiates (specifically, heroin).
Most likely, he souldn’t be taking this. More importantly, the doctor shouldn’t be prescribing it. Methadone is more difficult to kick than heroin (according to former addicts in the methadone program). I have seen people on methadone, it aint pretty.
If you think your friend is lying to his doctor to get drugs, tell someone. Methadone is NOT to played with.
Smooth talking can get you any prescription. If you’re sly enough you can BS your way into any drug.
