Your best bet with diazepam, as with any other medication, is to pay attention to the expiration date, and discard any that are outdated.</description>

If you keep the medication in high temperature for an extended time, perhaps the pills will be absorbed by the plastic.  If this really bothers you, then glass containers, titanium coated containers or gold plated containers may be a solution for you.</description>
