The amount of the cocaine is irrelevant. To be charged with trafficking there are two elements:
1) possession of a controlled substance
2) with an intent to deliver the same
If the circumstances of the possession show an intent to traffic, then any amount would suffice, even an amount of baking powder.
Some examples showing intent to traffic:
passes a baggie of 1 gram of cocaine in exchange for US currency
possesses 5 grams of cocaine in 5 individual baggies marked $5 each along with extra baggies and no use paraphernalia.
Possesses a large quantity of cocaine too much for personal consumption.
Possesses 3 small baggies of cocaine with a firearm, rolled US currency, a digital scale, empty baggies, and a notebook of drug shipping accounting
Some of the less clear cases will need an expert, but the circumstances may indicate that the possessor intended to deliver the cocaine to another individual rather than use it for him or herself

The volume of the cocaine must be substantial.

1 kilogram for federal sentencing.

I THINK ITS THE SAME AMOUNT OF COCAINE THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE TO BE AN COMPLETE IDIOT!! DONT DO DRUGS

more then personal use……( I don’t know how much one would use)
