What Happens If You Take An Ativan That Expired 10 Years Ago?
If a bottle of Ativan 0.5 MG expired in 1997, what happens to them? Do they get more or less potent? I am asking because I have searched everywhere and cannot find any information on this.

I’m told that drugs up to a year expired can be safe. 10 years? I wouldn’t chance it you could end up in the hospital or worse. CAUTION throw them out.
They become less potent, but will not do any harm.
nothing will happen it’s not going to hurt you it just won’t work
not sure contact me at bballstar102194@yahoo.com and then i will answer ur question
Ativan will either be useless or become toxic. Either way, if you have taken one I would call your local poison control centre. They will be able to tell you exactly what to do and are often more reliable than the hospitals (trust me on that one….). After that, clean out your cupboard and throw out the rest of your expired medication!
nothing- they may be less potent but they will not hurt you.
