How Exactly Is 2mg Ativan Supposed To Make You Feel, And When Will I Start Feeling It After I Take It.?
I have been prescribed xanax for a long time for anxiety issues. My doctor just took me off of xanax and decided he wanted me to try Ativan. I haven’t taken it yet, so I was just wondering if it will feel the same as xannax? If not, how will it make me feel. I am nervouse about taking a new med.

They say there is the risk of dependence to Xanax, that may be why he took you off it. I took it and they switched me to Ativan, made me sleepy too and I stopped taking it and went back to Xanax. .5Mg. But everybody is different, try and take it and see how it does.
I haven’t used either in over 10 years, go off all meds.
i used to take 0.5 mg of ativan. At first it made me sleepy but once i got used to taking it i didn’t have any side effects. You shouldn’t feel any different by taking the Ativan.
