What Can Replace Ambien To Help My Dad Sleep?
My father has been on ambien quite a while and would like to stop taking it. He will need a different pill to help him sleep. Is there something other than Lunesta? He tried that and it did not work. He his also anxious. Perhaps there is an anti-anxiety medicine he could switch to that would also help him sleep.

Rozerem is another sleep aid, and it triggers your natural release of oxitocin.
would he be willing to try something natural? I truly believe sleeping pills are very bad for you in the long run. Try TRUE lavender essential oil, mixed with water in a bottle, shake it, and spray lightly on pillows and bedding. lavender is proven to help you drift to sleep and decrease anxiety and panic. google the benifits of Lavender essential oil. also, they have natural sleeping pills at walmart or CVS, and other pharmacies, made of herbs or other natural effective sleep aids. there is a gentler non natural pill, that is OTC, called Simply Sleep. I hope your dad feels better!!!!
