Does Ambien Cr Work To The Full Effect On The First Night?
I just started taking Ambien CR, and I only slept about five and one half to six hours last night. I was wondering how long it will take before i will start sleeping 8 hours and feel rested the next day?

I took Ambien for a couple of months, it helped me go to sleep but I still woke up alot thru the night. When I switched to Ambien Cr it helped me go to sleep fast & stay asleep all night. It worked from the 1st night. Now after a few months it takes me longer to go to sleep. If I take it @8:30pm I can be asleep by 10:30. Thats not so good. I sleep a lot better though. Good, restful sleep.
Well, Im not sure how long it will take to have full effect on you, but for me ambien CR didnt work to its full effect until the 3rd night I was taking it. For some people you have to introduce the medicine before it begins to work.
Should have full effect with first dose. 6 hrs. a night sleep is pretty good for the average person. People react differently to it.
I’ve been taking regular Ambien for years, I get 7-8 hours sleep.
I tried Ambien CR when it first came out, found it less effective
