Adderall???
My friend gave me 20mg of adderall today.
My teachers and mom already think i have add but they dont know i have these pills.
its ok to take them right?????
How much weight does somene usually lose on adderall in 5 days?
And does it really hape you focus??

Those are a perscription that you need to get from a doctor. They are a controlled substance. You can be arrested for having them if they are not yours. Give them back and have your parents take you to a doctor and get your own if you need it. They are not the kind of pills kids should be having in their pocket.
Don’t ever take someone else’s perscriptions!

if you really do have a.d.d then yea, they’ll help you focus. in fact even if you don’t have the disorder it makes you totally hyperactive and it gives you all this inspiration to get everything done. it is comparable to “speed” yet not as dangerous.
there’s no certain amount of wait you lose on adderall, it just makes food some unappetizing. it doesn’t make you nauseous just it makes you not want to eat.
if you’re going to try it 20 mg is good. you will without a doubt like it and you’ll also know for sure if everyone is right about you have add. if you don’t take them…i happilly will! tehe jk.
Not a very dangerous drug, but can become addicting. One of my roomates in college had a prescription of 20mg tabs, he would give me two of them during the week of finals and it would help me study. However, my other roomate took the other approach and began to steal it, he would consume up to 10 a day at times, began to not eat and sleep much. He ended up failing out because of the stuff. Just be careful.
i agree- you go ahead and take it just to see if it helps your ADD. It wont kill you. I have taken my brother’s before and now have been recently been diagnosed with ADHD. I didn’t react well to adderall. Thank God i did try Adderall or else, instead of me being prescribed Concerta(18mg), i would have been stuck with Adderall which throws my social life out of wack. Different people react differently with different medications. Concerta does the same thing Adderall should have done (Adderall makes me focus too, but the side effects were far too worse) but Concerta doesnt change my behavior.
My psychiatrist told me what they are supposed to do with this example:
They are supposed to be like glasses- you can decide to focus on reading a book whenever you want but it shouldnt change your behavior. Just like glasses, you take them off at your will when you dont want to read a book anymore and can put them back on when you want to read again. nobody should be able to really tell if you are prescribed glasses if your not wearing them.
btw, when you take adderall thats not prescribed to you, its called ‘speed’
i have been taking adderall for over a year (with a prescription) and if you have add then yea its gonna help u focus quite a bit, you will “want” to get all your work done, its the reason i passed my last year of high school lol. For weight loss you would have to have it everyday which i don’t recommend if you don’t have a prescription because it can be addictive if you take it alot so u would waste all your money on adderall and that’s never good. Taking it once or twice wont do anything its not like it gets u high, kinda the opposite except you enjoy it. Only bad side effects are lack of appetite and insomnia.
How old are you? If you haven’t been diagnosed by a physician and prescribed adderall then you have no business having them or taking them. Adderall is a schedule II controlled substance and has been deemed to have a high potential for abuse and addiction.
It is not OK to take them.
If you haven’t been diagnosed as ADD/ADHD then they will mess up your mind instead of helping you focus.
Report your friend to your parents and teacher.
